1) Do you use real butterflies ?

Yes the wings are from real butterflies sourced from purpose built tropical butterfly farms, resulting in an ecologically sound process that provides both income for remote communities and growth in the overall butterfly population. We refuse to use rare, endangered, or trade restricted butterflies.

2) How long will it take to receive my butterfly ?

I personally hand make all of my necklaces and they are made-to-order so please allow up to approx 2 weeks for completion. If you have any queries about delivery times on a specific butterfly necklace please email me at lisa@gildedbutterflies.com

4) Can you make custom butterflies ?

Yes. If there is a specific butterfly you would like please allow 1-2 months for design and making time. There is also a minimum quantity for this service please email: lisa@gildedbutterflies.com

5) Do the butterflies come with a box ?

Yes. The butterflies will come with a black cushioned gift box with the gold 'Gilded Butterflies' logo printed on the top. Please see images for details.

6) Do you make the butterflies in precious metal ?
